Week 11: Stars

Deze week maar heel eenvoudig me bij het tekenen van sterren gehouden. Nadat ik de sterren had gemaakt, wilde ik de achtergrond opvullen, en omdat ik tijdens het tekenen van de sterren de hele tijd aan het liedje Starry Starrry Night moest denken, heb ik de songtekst van het liedje opgezocht, en dit op de achtergrond geschreven. Al overschrijvend kwam ik erachter dat dit liedje over Vincent van Gogh gaat. Grappig en toevallig dus dat ik dit liedje net heb uitgekozen voor het schrijven als achtergrond tekst. Vervolgens de achtergrond ligt blauw gemaakt met pastelkrijt, en met mijn kleurpotloden wat schaduw aangebracht in de tekst.  Naast de totale blz heb ik ook wat close up foto's gemaakt van de sterren, en deze samen op een foto gezet!

This week I wanted to keep it simple. I drew some stars. When they were finished, I wanted to something on the background, but didn't know what. So I thought about the title or text or quote I wanted to use. The only thing that came upon my mind was the song Starry Starry Night. So I looked for the text of the song, and wrote it on the background. While I was writing I discovered the song was about a famous Dutch Painter (Vincent van Gogh). What a coincidence. After my text was finished I made the background blue with my pastels and with my colorpencils I made some shading in the text. 
I had a lot of fun working on this one. As you can see, I put a picture of my page on the post, and I made some close ups of the stars. I put them together on 1 picture as you see!
